As the only public Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in South Carolina, South Carolina State University offers a rich academic tradition and a vibrant campus experience. However, the university’s previous website fell short of capturing its energy and made it difficult for prospective students to find the information they needed to apply and enroll.
Beacon partnered with SC State’s web team to reimagine the site from the ground up—introducing intuitive navigation, compelling design, and a more immersive digital experience. The result is a bold, user-friendly website that highlights the university’s unique strengths and encourages more students to explore, engage, and apply.
