Improved navigation and mobile-optimization power strategic redesign.
The University of the District Columbia (UDC) sought to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience on their website while capturing the school's vibrant spirit. That goal led to UDC partnering with Beacon for a full website redesign.
With a redesign strategy based on in-depth site analysis and stakeholder feedback, Beacon went to work, updating and improving the site's navigation, revamping the news section, and building a dynamic program finder tool. A mobile-friendly design made the site accessible to more users, helping students, faculty, and alumni connect and engage with UDC. The finished site fulfilled goals from the University's strategic plan and helped elevate the school in its role as a leading national public urban university.
