York Technical College empowers students with accessible, career-focused pathways through academic programs and hands-on job training. But its previous website lacked the visual appeal, structure, and clarity needed to engage prospective students and highlight the value of a York Tech education.
To support the college’s recruitment goals, Beacon led a full website redesign, combining captivating design with keyword-rich content to improve both user experience and search engine visibility. The result: a refreshed, modern site that clearly presents York Tech’s offerings and helps students easily find the information they need to take the next step.

Students and alumni of York Tech can easily locate and access information on the new site after Beacon unveiled a fresh, interactive design with easy-to-find information about programs and virtual services.
The Beacon-created "Programs and Classes" section in the top menu bar simplifies the program discovery process and leads more students to enroll at York Tech.
Developed a thorough strategy to create a functional, user-friendly website based off heatmaps, stakeholders sessions, and market research collected at the start of the project.
A sleek and modern new design provides York Tech students a mobile-friendly and immersive browsing experience that highlights the benefits of attending the college and provides an overview of the programs and virtual services offered.
Created 40 pages of original copy based on SME interviews with faculty and staff at York Tech to better deliver messaging to current and prospective students, with a particular focus on showing positive outcomes for students who graduate from York Tech.
Migrated more than 800 pages from the previous version of the site, and stepped in to integrate additional content pages to help York Tech meet their launch date.
